Bashaud Breeland, American Football Cornerback Arrested

Bashaud Breeland was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday in South Carolina. He is starting cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs in their Super Bowl LIV victory, According to the investigation of the York County (S.C.) Sheriff’s Office prisoner, Breeland is charged with resisting arrest. He had alcohol in a seal-broken motor vehicle. Also, having an open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle. Further, having 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams of cannabis. Also, driving a vehicle without a permit.
The 28-year-old Bashaud Breeland is still in custody as of Tuesday night, and a bond is yet to set. The Chiefs were aware of the situation but, according to multiple reports, they had no comment on the matter. During the 2019 season, Breeland was a key addition to the Super Bowl-winning team at Kansas City. Breeland played in 16 regular-season games starting at 15 and recording two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 48 tackles. In Super Bowl LIV, Breeland had an interception on the Chiefs’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Breeland signs a one-year contract extension with the Chiefs earlier this month. So, Breeland is in Washington’s third-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft. Breeland is at four seasons with the Redskins before playing with the Green Bay Packers for a season. He joins the Chiefs as a Free Agent in March 2019.
