Basketball Star Kobe Bryant’s Helicopter Crash Post Mortem Report Released

A post mortem helicopter crash review that killed basketball star Kobe Bryant has classified blunt force trauma as the reason of death for all nine victims. The 180-page study also noted that Ara Zobayan, a 50-year-old pilot, had tested the drugs and alcohol negative. The cause of the January 26 crash that occurred amid heavy fog in California is still under investigation.
Bryant ‘s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, was on onboard the helicopter with him. The passengers-which included two of Gianna’s teammates in basketball, their relatives and a driver-were on their way to a Thousand Oaks tournament where Bryant was scheduled to lead. When the helicopter crashed into a hill just north of Los Angeles, Alyssa Altobelli, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Christina Mauser all died alongside the Bryants, and pilot Ara Zobayan.
On Friday, the results of the post-mortem examination post on the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner bureau website. Bryant, a five-time NBA champion, has played throughout his career for the LA Lakers. It considers one of the best players in the history of the game. After a 20 year career with the team, he retires in April 2016.
Lawyers for his widow, Vanessa Bryant, have lodged a complaint against the helicopter-operating service. It alleges that before taking off, Zobayan-who died in the crash-was not analyzing weather details. Separately, earlier this year, the Los Angeles County sheriff said eight Deputies had confessed possessing the crash site’s graphic photos. Alex Villanueva said their behaviour left him “devastated and heartbroken.”
He states the Deputies ask to remove the photos.
