Joe Biden Wishes to Choose Michelle Obama as his Running Mate

In a new interview, presumed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said he wouldn’t hesitate to pick former first lady Michelle Obama to be his running mate, but stressed he doubts she’s interested in the role.
Nevertheless, Biden said he did not think she was interested in the role.
Biden said he is also considering who to choose. He committed to selecting a woman again but didn’t commit to choosing a coloured woman.
The former vice president, who served under former President Barack Obama, has said earlier that he wants Michelle Obama to be his running mate.
Several names speculate for Joe Biden as possible running mates. It includes some of his former primary opponents who showed interest in the job. Last week in an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said she would say yes. This is if Biden approaches her to be vice president. Also, last week Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) states she to “honour” if she suggests a running mate for Biden.
Former Georgia nominee for governor, Stacey Abrams, has also said she intends to serve as vice president. Last week, Abrams told Elle magazine that she will make Biden an ‘excellent’ running mate. Earlier this month, Biden also announced he’s considering Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) for the position.
